The new CVPP velocity prediction program is ready for download.
CVPP is my latest velocity prediction program and it is the consolidations of my efforts in the general context of VPPs. CVPP is a conventional standalone desktop program and does not use any Matlab or other runtime environments. CVPP is easy to use and fast. It provides reasonable output for conventional yachts.
Go ahead and give it a try. It is free, easy to use and fun.
Prototype methods: The prototype methods which could be downloaded here in the past, are still available. Just go to the “Prototype Methods” page. This page still offers information, methods, programs and code for flow forces and velocity prediction of sailing yachts, sailing dinghies, mono- and multihull, foiling or non-foiling. The information provided is intended to be used by engineers and scientists, who already have a solid understanding of sailing yacht velocity prediction and related technics.
