
The “Delft Systematical Yacht Hull Series” is a large family of different yacht hull models, intensively tested at the Delft Technical University. It is the by far most welknown yacht hull series. The Keuning Regression of the towing tank test results allows to predict flow forces of arbitrary shaped hulls in 4 degrees of freedom (longitudinal and heeling forces, heeling and yawing moments). It is an excellent way to predict yacht hull resistance within a VPP or for any other purpose.
The method presented here is an implementation of a Matlab (C) live skript. Input to the method has to be provided by human-readable commented JSON files.
